Couldn't find anything new to post so I went back through the archives and found this shot that I did during my Polaroid "manipulation phase" several years or so ago. Wasn't happy with the original composition so PS'd it into this. Posted by Hello

This image is from the car club meeting last Sunday at Smitty's. It is a 59 Edsel and she is fabulous! Posted by Hello

Really didn't have much to post so I chose something that I shot this past Sunday at Smitty's, which is a little restaurant in Hampton, Va that has curb service. I'm not sure how I want to present this blog. Should I just post the images and let them speak for themselves, or should I include my thoughts as well? Posted by Hello

Got up early and headed out to the Norfolk Botanical Gardens with my friend Jack Whitlow. He is an artist friend of mine who has been drawing for over 50 years. I sell his work on eBay with some success. I took this of one of the main fountains at the Gardens. I have been playing around with doing a collage series like this but want to incorporate more photos so I am waiting for my Polaroid 680 that I purchased on Ebay recently to arrive at my house. I hope it works as it was quite expensive. Posted by Hello

I finally get around to putting my Polaroids in protective photographic sleeves and came across this print. Another shot of my niece Kayleigh taken several years ago at a hotel swimming pool. That purple shadow along the right side is one of the many quirks I love about shooting Polaroids. The beauty of imperfection. Posted by Hello

Shadow is her name. Aptly named as she will just appear out of no where. I took another image of her with the flash on and this is one is far superior. Posted by Hello

Well, today is tax day. At least I filed on time this year. Did the teletax thing which is so easy but there was a message at the end that said they wouldn't be offering that option anymore. That sucks. I will do it online next time I guess. We dropped our tax stuff off at the mailbox around 9:30. I thought there would be a line but there wasn't. They had tons of staff on hand to help out. Paid my state as well. Just to get that out of the way.  Posted by Hello

This new shot is one I took at the Hermitage Museum. The had these amazing stones in a concentric circle in the ground on the right side of the house. I love the colors in this one. Almost looks like a big mushroom. Posted by Hello

Shot this of the pool drain. Find it really dreamy and etherial. Posted by Hello

My folks were in town this weekend so we hung out at the hotel most of the weekend. This is my niece Kayleigh. It looks like a manipulated SX-70 print but it is a 600 integral print. Posted by Hello

My first post

I follow a lot of blogs on the net and decided to use blogger to post some of my photos and will probably join a photoblog ring.
